Teen Killed, 2 Injured In Tampa Shooting: Hillsborough County Sheriff
A 17-year-old boy was killed and 2 other people were injured in a Tampa shooting, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
TAMPA, FL — A deadly shooting that took the life of a 17-year-old boy in Tampa on Tuesday night is under investigation, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The agency’s 911 dispatch center received a call about the fatal shooting in the 10000 block of Country Hollow Drive around 9:30 p.m.
Deputies who responded to the shooting found the victim, later identified as Trevaun Johnson, dead at the scene with upper body trauma, the sheriff’s office said.

Not long after this, two people arrived at local hospitals with gunshot wounds and are in stable condition.
“There is no situation in which this level of violence is acceptable,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “The safety of this community is our top priority, and we will continue doing everything in our power to protect it.”
