Teen Killed, 2 Others Injured In Weekend Shooting

Tampa Police are looking for witnesses to a Saturday shooting that left one teen dead and two injured.

TAMPA, FL — As the Tampa Police Department continues to investigate a Saturday night shooting that claimed the life of one teenager and left two others injured, authorities are asking witnesses to come forward.

According to the agency, the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Lily White Court the night of Feb. 11. Police say there were two groups of teenagers in the area, which is near 7th Avenue and Nuccio Parkway, that got involved in an altercation. It is unknown what sparked gunshots or the altercation. Authorities say "multiple subjects" began firing shots.

“As a result, three teens were struck by bullets,” a Monday email from Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay said. Tee’on Milledge, 17, was killed. Two other teens, Tremon Staley, 16, and Christian Agosto, 17, were injured. Both injured teens were treated and released from a local hospital.

Police are following up on leads in the case, but say no arrests have been made.

“Detectives believe there were several witnesses to the shootings,” police wrote in a Monday email.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the police department at 813-231-6130. Tips that may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 may also be called into Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
