Teen’s Body Pulled From Water Near Courtney Campbell Causeway: Reports

TAMPA, FL — Police are investigating after a teenage boy’s body was pulled from the water near the Courtney Campbell Causeway Sunday evening, according to multiple reports.

Officers responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive person in the water just after 6 p.m., WTSP said.

They found the body of a Black male in his midteens in waters on the south side of the bridge, WFLA reported.

There were no signs of trauma to his body, the Tampa Bay Times said.

The boy had no identification on him and investigators were working to identify him so they could contact his family, ABC Action News said.
