2. A former employee of Tampa General Hospital’s Urgent Care was found to be stealing patient information at the Seminole location. The former employee took pictures of driver’s licenses and credit card information of three patients. 3. Some parents and community groups are speaking out against a proposal they say gives too much power to law enforcement who work with school children in Pinellas County. Community leaders and the local NAACP want specific language to put a balance between public safety and a need to make sure students are not unnecessarily criminalized. (WTSP)

5. Libraries in Florida have adapted to meet the needs of COVID-19 and for the future. Pasco County launched a pilot program to offer books by mail to those who aren’t able to leave their homes and Pinellas County moved its Deaf Literacy Center online to still meet the needs of the community. These are just a few ways that local libraries are working to remain a part of the community in a different world. (WUSF)
