A tractor-trailer crash overturned on U.S. 301 in Hillsborough County, shutting down a section of the road Thursday, Florida Highway Patrol
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A crash involving a tractor-trailer truck shut down a section of U.S. Highway 301 Thursday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The truck, driven by a 35-year-old Bradenton man around 2:40 p.m., was heading west when its load shifted and it overturned while making a left turn at the intersection of State Road 674, FHP said.
It came to a rest after overturning on its passenger side, blocking the northbound lanes of U.S. 301 for several hours.
