TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is on the hunt for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Ybor City early Sunday morning. According to the agency, the crash happened at East 15th Avenue and North 15th Street in the early morning hours of Feb. 26. While police have not released details about the pedestrian killed in the crash, they have identified a possible suspect vehicle. The vehicle believed to be involved is a Ford truck that is likely a late 90s to early 2000 model. Anyone who has information about the vehicle in the photos or its driver is asked to call the police department at 813-231-6130. No further information is available at this time.
