Unsolved Murder: Police Release Video Of Victim Before Attack
Video footage, believed to be the last taken before Dontate Lampkins' January death, has been released by Tampa police.

TAMPA, FL — As its detectives continue to search for the person or people responsible in the January death of Dontae Lampkins, 25, the Tampa Police Department has released what is believed to be the last video footage of the victim alive.
Lampkins was last seen boarding and exiting a HART bus on Jan. 24. His body was found in a Seminole Heights area alley on Jan. 26. Police say Lampkins had been robbed and murdered after possibly coming into contact with his attacker via a social media dating app. He suffered upper body trauma, police say.
“This was not a random incident,” the police department wrote in an email Monday.
