Slight Warming In Tampa Bay’s Workweek Forecast
While boaters are being warned to exercise caution on Tampa Bay waters, the forecast for the week ahead is relatively mild.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors may find themselves turning their air-conditioners into the “on” position as the workweek gets under way. According to the National Weather Service, the region is in for a balmy few days.
Monday is expected to kick things off with partly sunny skies throughout the region. The day’s high should climb into the upper 70s with those breezy conditions that arrived with last week’s cold front still very much in the cards. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the overnight hours Monday with a low around 60 degrees.
Considering Monday's windy conditions, the weather service is still warning small boat operators to take care on local waters. Forecasters anticipate wind speeds of up to 25 knots and seas to 7 feet throughout the day on Monday and part of Tuesday.

“During the late afternoon wind and seas will diminish and subside some, but this will be short lived as winds and seas will again increase to advisory levels tonight with hazardous boating conditions again likely through early Tuesday morning,” the service wrote in Monday’s Hazardous Weather Outlook report.
Forecasters anticipate conditions to gradually improve on Tuesday for small craft operators.
