Water Main Break Repairs Closes North Jefferson Street In Tampa

TAMPA, FL — Due to more extensive repairs needed for a broken water main, North Jefferson Street will continue to remain closed between East Kennedy Boulevard and East Twiggs Street while the Tampa Water Department completes repairs.

Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. The completion of the work is now expected by 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4.

The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work.

North 22nd Street Lane Closure

Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, the southbound lane of North 22nd Street will be closed between East Caracas Street and East Ellicott Street while the Tampa Water Department repairs another water main break.

Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. The completion of the work is expected by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3.
