Water ​Street To Transform Neighborhood Into Winter Wonderland Friday

TAMPA, FL — Water Street Tampa is decking the halls for the kick-off of its first Season Spectacular starting Nov. 18 and running throughout the holiday season.

In addition to the annual Winter Wonder Wharf at Sparkman Wharf, 615 Channelside Drive, lights, decorations and holiday spirit will fill the streets of Water Street Tampa with some surprise holiday magic at every corner.

This inaugural event marks the start of a new holiday tradition on Water Street, and the countdown begins on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. with activities for all ages.

• Live music
• A holiday-themed silent disco
• Extra festive photo-ops
• Hot chocolate bars
• Seasonal cocktails and bites

A portion of proceeds from food and beverages sold at Season Spectacular will be donated to the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation as a part of its Bolts Giving Campaign benefiting Feeding Tampa Bay and Metropolitan Ministries.

Guests can stroll to Sparkman Wharf to complete their holiday experience at Winter Wonder Wharf from 6 to 9 p.m. that night. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the 30- foot tree-lighting and photo-ops at themed areas, which include a colorful tree forest where they'll can find Santa, melting snowmen and a redesign of the well-known Sparkman Wharf Tampa sign.

Sparkman Wharf will continue celebrating the season through upcoming events:

• A holiday remix singalong on Dec. 3
• An improv holiday comedy show on Dec. 10
• Caroling on Dec. 17.

Following the kickoff of Season Spectacular, Water Street Tampa will host a Holiday Promenade market on Thursday, Dec. 8, giving local shopping a festive twist. The neighborhood will celebrate local businesses, vendors and artisans for an open-air holiday market.

Everyone is invited for an evening of shopping, strolling and discovering unique gifts set to the picture-perfect backdrop of seasonal décor and made all the more enjoyable by live entertainment.

Water Street Tampa is being developed on more than 50 acres of land in downtown Tampa along the waterfront.
