- Westfield Brandon Towncenter has been sold for $220 million as its parent company leaves the United States.
- The annual Summer Classics movie series is returning to Tampa Theatre early next month.
- Free draft beers are returning to Busch Gardens for annual passholders this summer.

- Westfield Brandon Towncenter has been sold for $220 million. It was the last remaining Westfield location in Florida. Westfield said the mall has an 84.5 percent store occupancy rate, which is one of the highest in the country. (Subscription: Tampa Bay Times)
- A 79-year-old man with dementia was found dead in Bradenton at a pond. He was last seen along the 4900 block of 32nd Street East on May 17. An investigation is underway into the cause of death. (WFLA)
- The 32nd annual Summer Classics movie series is back at Tampa Theatre in downtown Tampa. The movies will be played every Sunday from June 4 through Aug. 27. Screenings are at 3 p.m. and can be reserved online for those interested in attending. (That's So Tampa)
- The world's largest triceratops skeleton has opened at Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa. The head of the skeleton weighs over 770 pounds. The skeleton will be loaned to the museum for three years. (ABC Action News)
- Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is bringing back free beer this summer through July 20. Pass Members can enjoy two free seven-ounce beers per visit. Guests can get their free beer at Twisted Tails Pretzels in the Pantopia area. (Fox 13)
