Witnesses, Information Sought In Fatal Shooting Of Man In Tampa
A man was found dead of gunshot wounds to his upper body in the front seat of a black Nissan sedan.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa police detectives are seeking tips in a fatal shooting Tuesday.
According to police, just before 6 p.m. officers were called to the 1700 block of East Idell Street for a report of someone shot.
Officers arrived to find a man in his early to mid 20s dead of upper body gunshot wounds in the front seat of a black Nissan sedan.

Detectives are working to identify witnesses in this case.

Detectives are also seeking tips in another shooting in which the victim survived.
On Tuesday at 11:32 p.m., police were called to the 8000 block of North Brooks Street for a report of shots fired.
On the way to the scene, police were contacted by a man who had been shot and drove himself to the 1300 block of Busch Boulevard and notified the police.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made.
