HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Florida troopers are attempting to identify a woman who was killed early Thursday morning after losing control on Interstate 75 near the Interstate 4 exit.

According to troopers, at 3:20 a.m., the woman was driving a Volkswagen Jetta south on I-75 at a high speed when she struck several orange construction barrels and a guardrail blocking the lane of the exit ramp to Interstate 4.

She died at the scene.
