Woman Killed By Vehicle While Crossing 22nd Street In Tampa

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating an early morning crash that killed a woman attempting to cross 22nd Street near the East Henry intersection.

According to Tampa police, the woman was struck by a vehicle after stepping into the road outside a crosswalk just after 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
