• Spring Hill Man Charged After Kitten Killed During Domestic Dispute (hernandosun.com) — A Spring Hill resident was arrested after deputies say a 12‑week‑old kitten was killed during a domestic dispute at a home on Lightwood Street. Hernando County deputies charged the man with aggravated animal cruelty and domestic battery, and Animal Services took custody of the kitten. The sheriff’s office called the incident a senseless act of violence.
