$1 Million Mega Millions Winner From St. Pete
A 55-year-old man has claimed his winnings from a Quick Pick ticket that was purchased at a St. Petersburg store in June.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 55-year-old St. Petersburg man purchased a winning $1 million Mega Millions ticket in June from the Florida Lottery.
Michael Rees's winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball June 22, a news release said. The ticket was bought at Sunrise Quick Stop, 5100 34th St. S., St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the $1 million Mega Millions ticket.
The next Mega millions drawing will be held Friday, July 16, at 11 p.m. with an estimated $117 million jackpot.
