1 Shot In St. Pete House During Domestic Fight: Police

St. Pete police heard a gunshot when they pulled up to a house in the St. Pete Heights area. They have begun investigating the incident.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — An adult male was shot Monday evening during a domestic dispute with someone inside a house in the St. Pete Heights area, Police Information Officer Yolanda Fernandez told Patch.

Police had been called to the house located in the 3100 block of 23rd Street North for the domestic violence incident at about 6:03 p.m., according to Fernandez.

A gunshot went off inside the house when officers pulled up to the home, police said.

The adult male was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Fernandez said.

No other details have been released by law enforcement officials.
