2 Dead, 1 Injured In St. Pete Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A motorcyclist was killed after a car failed to yield to him at a stop sign in St. Pete, FL Highway Patrol. The car's driver also died.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Two people were killed in a Tuesday night crash in St. Petersburg, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A car was heading west on 46th Avenue N. at the time of the crash, just before 11 p.m. At the same time, a motorcyclist was traveling north on Park Street N.
When the car, driven by a 24-year-old St. Petersburg woman, stopped at the intersection of Park Street N., it didn’t yield to the motorcyclist, a 49-year-old Mary Esther man, FHP said.

Both drivers died at the scene of the crash.
The car’s passenger, a 23-year-old St. Petersburg man, was seriously injured and brought to a local hospital.
