.213 Alcohol Blood Level Of Driver Who Kills Pedestrian: Police
A woman crashed into a St. Petersburg building after the vehicle she operated, hit and killed a pedestrian, investigators said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man was hit and killed Monday on Fourth Street North by a woman who is accused of driving under the influence with a .213 alcohol blood level, a St. Pete police news release said.
The suspect, 43-year-old Olga Yuryevna Davis, drove a 2008 Subaru southbound on Fourth Street North in St. Petersburg at 1:30 p.m., according to investigators. Davis sped the vehicle and weaved across three southbound lanes, police said, until she lost control of it in the 9000 block.
A pedestrian who walked on the sidewalk west of Fourth Street was hit by the car after it slid across the roadway and then spun into him, authorities said. After the car hit the victim, investigators said it crashed into a building, 8934 Fourth Street North. The pedestrian was pronounced dead after police removed him from under the vehicle, according to officers.

Davis was taken to Bayfront Health with an alcohol blood level of .213, according to authorities. After she was released from the hospital, St. Pete police said she was arrested on the following charges:
- DUI manslaughter
- Vehicular homicide
- DUI Property damage
