3,000 Gallons Of Wastewater Discharged During Heavy Rain: St. Pete
Wastewater continues to flow Wednesday on 36th Avenue N. near Joe's Creek, St. Petersburg officials said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — About 3,000 gallons of wastewater was charged from manholes during Tuesday night’s heavy rains, the city of St. Petersburg said.
One thousand gallons discharged from two manholes at 22nd Avenue N. and 58th Street N.
The discharge, which has since stopped, flowed into ditches on 22nd Avenue N. and 58th Street N., the city said.

About 2,000 gallons of wastewater discharged from four manholes at 36th Avenue N. and 66th Way N.
The wastewater flowed into storm drains that lead to Joe’s Creek. The discharge is ongoing and crews are working to stop it, the city said.
