5 Students Injured In St. Pete School Bus Crash: Reports

A Monday morning crash involving an Azalea Middle School bus in St. Petersburg is under investigation, reports said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Five students were injured in a Monday morning school bus crash in St. Petersburg, according to multiple reports.

The crash between the bus from Azalea Middle School and a Jeep SUV happened at the intersection of 27th Avenue South and 37th Street South, WFLA said.

There were 15 passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, according to Fox 13. Five children were brought to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

The SUV’s driver was also brought to a local hospital, WTSP said. Their condition is unknown.
