This Saturday, the St. Petersburg Pier is hosting the second annual . The tournament begins at 7 a.m. and is $30 to enter. Fish by land or by sea during this tournament, presented by the Aquaholics Fishing Club. The top three in the adult division receive cash prizes. The top three in the teen and youth divisions receive trophies and prizes

Head to Jannus Live Friday night to rock out with Saving Abel, Redlight King, Aranda and Fall From Grace. Saving Abel are best know their hits, "Addicted" and "18 Days". Tickets are $12 and gates open at 6 p.m.
4. Chick-fil-A Daddy Daughter Date Night
Chick-fil-A Fourth Street North is hosting on Saturday, June 16. There will be three seatings: 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 pm. Dads and their daughters will enjoy table-side service, dancing, photos with the cow, face painting by Sophie the Face Painter and much more! It will be a night you won't want to miss. A portion of proceeds from the event will go toward creating dreams for children through the Children's Dream Fund. Reservations can be made online.
5. Explore the Night Sky at the Planetarium
This Friday, learn about "The Stars of Summer" as planetarium director and resident astronomer Dr. Craig Joseph hosts two free planetarium shows on selected Friday nights. The planetarium, which is located at 69th St N & 5th Ave N, comfortably seats 47. Reservations are not necessary. Sorry, but children under age 5 cannot be admitted. The rooftop observatory will be open after the show (weather permitting) for telescope viewing. The event if free and begins at 7 and 8:15 p.m. at The St. Petersburg College Planetarium -- 2nd floor of the Natural Science building on the Gibbs campus.
