Morean Director to Resign at Year End

Bob Glaser, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Morean Arts Center, announced that Executive Director Katee Tully will be leaving the Morean at year-end.

Wayne Atherholt, Director of Marketing since February  2011, will serve as Interim Director while a search for Tully’s successor is under way.

Tully said: “My nearly four years at the Morean have been very gratifying, bringing the Morean to a new level during the most difficult of economic times. We have completed several major projects which will have lasting positive impact on the Morean, the arts community, and the community at large.”

“Katee’s contributions to the success of the Morean have been enormous”, said Glaser. “The Morean and our Chihuly Collection are recognized as a significant creative force and economic driver for St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay Region.”
