Boyfriend Fatally Stabbed Woman, Dumped Body: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man was charged with murder after fatally stabbing his girlfriend, 40-year-old Amanda Browning, and leaving her body near a dumpster, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.

Browning’s body was found with visible stab and cut wounds Saturday just after 8 a.m. in the 3800 block of 15th Avenue N.

Investigators learned that she shared an apartment with her boyfriend, Daniel Coley, 41.

They developed probable cause to arrest him early Sunday morning in connection with her death, police said.

Coley was charged with second-degree murder and booked into Pinellas County Jail.
