Car Crashes Into House, Injuring Elderly Woman

The cause of the crash, which occurred Monday morning, is still under investigation.

Pinellas Park police are investigating what caused a woman to drive her car into the front of a home on Monday, injuring an elderly woman inside.

Police said just after 10 a.m. Monday, an adult woman crashed her car into the front of a home located at 3676 100th Place North, inside the Mainlands subdivision.

An elderly woman was sitting in the home on the other side of the wall. She was transported to the hospital with a serious leg injury.

Police said the driver of the car remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
