Christmas Eve Crash Kills St. Petersburg Man: Police
A St. Petersburg man was killed in a Christmas Eve crash on 54th Avenue, Florida Highway Patrol said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 35-year-old man was killed Christmas Eve in a crash on 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The man drove his car southbound on 48th Street North towards 54th Avenue North, according to investigators. A Seminole woman headed westbound on 54th Avenue North when troopers said the victim turned into the path of her car and crashed into it at 7:07 p.m.
The collision caused the victim's car to flip over, detectives said.

Troopers said the man died at a local hospital from his injuries.
Minor injuries were experienced by the other driver.
