COVID-19 Testing Site At Tropicana Field Closes Early On Tuesday
Pinellas County residents who wanted coronavirus testing at the Tropicana Field on Tuesday afternoon will have to seek other options.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —St. Petersburg residents were waiting for over an hour in line as they sat in their cars to get drive-thru testing for the coronavirus at the Tropicana Field site.
Officials closed the testing site after 1 p.m. on Tuesday to new arrivals due to high demand, Pinellas County officials said.
According to officials, the site was closed to ensure everyone in line could be tested and their tests could be delivered to the laboratory for processing.

Normally, the Tropicana Field testing site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For residents who want to get tested on Tuesday, there are other places to get tested.
