Welcome to this week's Patch Minute! It's going to be hot this weekend, what are you doing to cool off?
Downtown St. Pete
The second annual Cats n' Brats Catfish Tournament kicks off at the St. Pete Pier at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 16. Registration is $30 per person. Fish by land or by sea during this tournament, presented by the Aquaholics Fishing Club. The top three in the adult division receive cash prizes. The top three in the teen and youth divisions receive trophies and prizes. There also will be raffles, a 50/50, music and other fun. All donated fish help feed the homeless. All proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association.

Gulfport
Stop by Gulfport for the Gulfport Little League Family Fun Day from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Little League Field at 1820 55th St. S. Check out a morning and afternoon of fun for the whole family! Games, raffles, face painting and more!

St. Pete Beach
Stop by the St. Pete Beach Community Center and Aquatic Complex for the "Dive-In" movie series on Friday nights. Doors open at 8 p.m. and guess what, you can bring noodles, floaties and/or chairs and enjoy a classic family movie. Admission is $4 per person. Drinks, snacks and glow jewerly will be sold at the pool, no outside coolers or containers. For more information contact St. Pete Beach Pool at (727) 363-9264.
