Frometa, Woodall Added to Bombs Away 5

Night of boxing set for April 2 at the Bayfront Hilton.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Unbeaten junior welterweight Yordan “Cuba” Frometa and middleweight prospect Steed “The Stallion” Woodall have been added to the Bombs Away 5 boxing card for Saturday, April 2 at the Bayfront Hilton, 333 First St. S.

Frometa, a native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, will put his 7-0 record on the line against Farkhad “Crazy Russian” Sharipov of Kissimmee in a six-round bout. Frometa, known for his six knockouts in his seven bouts, won both the U-17 and junior world championships as part of Cuba’s world renowned amateur program.

Born in the United Kingdom and now living in Miami, Woodall started his boxing career 9-0-1 with six knockouts. In his last fight, Woodall fought on ShoBox: The New Generation for the NABF title but was stopped in the fourth round by Steve Rolls. He will face Juan Fernando Reya of Bolivia.

“I’m glad we were able to add two more quality fighters to the card,” said Joey Orduna of Mad Integrity Fight Sports. “The locals were already raving about other fights on the card and now there’s even more to be excited about.”
