The Seminole Recreation Center presents a night of family fun and fright on Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.

Haunted Hikes

Experience the frights that live in the dark corners of St. Petersburg’s Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Immerse yourself in a spine-tingling adventure through the eerie trails on Friday and Saturday, 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Witches Ball

Spookeasy Lounge in Tampa hosts a night of magic, music and intrigue on Saturday. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Boo Run

This all-ages Sarasota race, which takes place Saturday at 7:30 a.m., supports two charities, Another Day for Gray Foundation and the Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch. Costumes encouraged.

Plant Sale & Flea Market

Replenish your landscape after the recent hurricanes at the Garden Club of St. Petersburg’s annual plant sale on Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pumpkin Paws and Spooky Claws

Gulfport Brewery presents a ghoulish take on Oktoberfest on Saturday starting at 4 p.m.

The Museum of Science & Industry in Tampa hosts its first-ever adult Halloween extravaganza on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Explore MOSI after hours, enter the costume contest and devour some candy.

Scaryoke

VFW Post 7845 in New Port Richey hosts a Halloween party on Saturday, 6:30 pm., with karaoke, costume contests, giveaways and more.

Beers on the Pier

The St. Petersburg History Museum presents this craft beer festival Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m., showcasing more than 20 breweries from across the U.S.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Extravaganza

Get your fishnets and corsets ready, because it's time to Time Warp the night away! St. Pete’s Green Light Cinema hosts two live shows of “Rocky Horror Picture Show" on Saturday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m.

Halloween on Central

St. Petersburg’s Central Avenue shuts down to celebrate Halloween on Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. This open street festival spans from the Grand Central District into the Edge District. Event highlights include The Kooky Spooky in the Edge District, Voodoo Vendor Village, Howl-o-Ween at Dog Bar and FrankenPride presented by St. Pete Pride.
