Halloween Forecast For Tampa Bay: Will Perfect Weather Last?
Sunny days and clear nights are forecast through the weekend for the Tampa-St. Pete region. Will they stick around for trick-or-treaters?
FLORIDA — Beautiful fall temperatures and perfect fishing or boating weather is forecast for the weekend, and should stick around for trick-or-treaters.
Conditions through the week are expected to remain warm and dry in the Tampa-St. Pete region, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s predicted through Tuesday. While Hurricane Tammy swirls out in the Atlantic Ocean, it is expected to stay well offshore of the East Coast and lose strength by the weekend, the National Hurricane Center said.
The National Weather Service expects sunshine and a high of up to 84 degrees on Tuesday, which is Halloween, in Tampa Bay.

Forecasters with Accuweather say that a cold front early next week will bring a "notable drop" in temperatures in the Northeast, but dry and warm weather will remain in the Southeast. From northern Florida to the North Carolina coast, expect conditions to remain on the dry side early next week.
Locations along the southeastern coast of Florida, such as Ghost Cove and Dismal Key, may have a few showers crossing the region into Halloween night, AccuWeather forecasters say, Damp and cooler weather can spread across the South Central states early next week, as well. Widespread highs in the 60s are expected along the Louisiana Gulf Coast as highs will be in the 50s across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles by Tuesday.
