Hazardous Weather: Rip Current, Choppy Seas
The National Weather Services is forecasting gusty winds and cold, dry weather through Wednesday.

Strong and gusting northwest winds are creating rough conditions and the risk of rip currents, according to the National Weather Service.
The high winds are blowing behind a cold front that is sweeping across the Tampa Bay region today, from Sarasota to Tarpon Springs.
The gusts are causing people to dig through closets for hats and gloves. Along the beaches, the high-wind impact is creating choppy seas and the risk of rip currents, which forecasters describe as moderate. The winds will not decrease until tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
