Honor The St. Pete Veteran In Your Life By Nominating Them For Award Given By City

The city plans to honor one or more veterans at the Eighth Annual Veterans Day Celebration scheduled November at Williams Park.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Nominations opened Wednesday for the city of St. Petersburg's annual Honored Veteran Award, a news release said.

Residents can nominate a local veteran for the award through Friday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m. One or more veterans will be chosen to receive the award at the Eighth Annual Veterans Day Celebration Nov. 11 at Willams Park, 330 Second Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Mayor Rick Kriseman, for his last time, will present the award since his term is ending soon. The nomination form can be found at stpete.org/veterans
