Human Remains Found in St. Petersburg
A fisherman discovered the skeletal remains in mangrove bushes near Big Bayou today.

The remains of a decomposed body were discovered by a fisherman near Big Bayou in St. Petersburg today.
Homicide detectives are on the scene, near 36th Avenue South and 6th Street. The skeletal remains were found in some mangrove bushes where the fisherman was casting for baitfish at about 3 p.m.
The body was so decomposed that it is not possible to determine the age, gender or cause of death until an autopsy and forensic work are done, police said.
