The Three-Quarter Century Softball Club (also known as Kids&Kubs) prepares for its 96th season opening at North Shore Park, 901 North Shore Dr., St. Petersburg, FL. Ethel Lehmann was born in 1929. The Three-Quarter Century Social Club gave birth to the "Kids and Kubs in early May of 1930. "96" is a significant number for Ethel and the Kids and Kubs.

Active three days a week, the physical and mental condition of the Club's participants is genuinely inspirational. An example is senior citizens emphasizing the importance of remaining active later in their years. "Motion is lotion" for older muscles, and the softball game offers the opportunity to be healthy and competitive.
Ethel Lehmann (age 96) is a member of the Women's National Senior Softball Hall of Fame (2008). A member of the Kids and Kubs since 2004 and Co-founder of the Women's Freedom Spirit Softball team. Won 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 B95-year-old dynamo Ethel Lehmann of Florida led the pack, establishing seven new records in both track and field events. Ethel has competed in multiple National Senior Games and the Florida Senior Games for over four decades. It was also a strong year for Power Walk athletes with 12 new NSGA records. Bronze medals at the National Senior Games during her softball career, beginning in 1995.
