Man, 47, Charged In Sexual Battery On Teen
A Seminole man is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a girl starting when she was 13.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 47-year-old Seminole man on sexual battery charges. According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation into William Jonathan Walls’ alleged actions began on Feb. 7 when the victim, who is now 19, told a school official she had inappropriate sexual contact with him starting around the age of 13.
Deputies say the encounters occurred between June 2009 and July 2016 when the girl was between the ages of 13 and 17.
After the girl's allegations came to light, detectives interviewed Walls Tuesday morning. “Walls confessed to the sexual battery allegations,” an email from the sheriff’s office said.
