Man Accused Of Killing 22-Year-Old In Parking Lot: Police
A man was shot and killed outside Food Max in St. Petersburg, and authorities are asking for anyone with information to contact police.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg police seek information about a shooting death of a 22-year-old victim in south St. Pete on Saturday morning.
According to detectives, the suspect, John F. Grant, 24, and the victim, Deauntazies Ramsey, got into an argument outside the Food Max Store before 3:15 a.m.
Grant and Ramsey were not strangers to each other, investigators said.

During the argument, Grant is accused of shooting Ramsey in the parking lot, 1400 18th Ave. S.
Grant was arrested and faces charges of murder in the second degree, Sandra Bentil, St. Pete police public information officer, told Patch.

Ramsey died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, law enforcement officials said.
