Edge District Shooting Victim's Name Released: Detectives
Investigators have been searching for gunman responsible for killing a man Tuesday morning in St. Petersburg.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The man fatally shot early Tuesday morning in St. Petersburg's EDGE District has been identified as 26-year-old Shane Tyler Boyd. No suspect has been arrested.

According to detectives, the victim was shot at about 1:30 a.m. in the area of Central Avenue and Dr. MLK Jr. St.
Authorities heard the sound of gunfire and found a man wounded, St. Pete police said. The man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
