Man Films Possible Tornado Forming in St. Pete

As the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Pinellas County Monday night, Vimeo user James Kenefick captured a tornado/water spout forming over his house. 
 
"It's the wildest thing to come home from the grocery store to a potentially life-altering event," Kenefick wrote on the video's description. "I shut down the camera right before things got really sporty, but it never touched down. We're okay, and we'll go to bed thankful to have a place to lay down." 

According to WFLA, the video was shot in north St. Pete and the videographer was the station's former art director.
