Authorities with the St. Pete Police Department are warning the community about a man who is illegally soliciting funds in neighborhoods.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Authorities with the St. Petersburg Police Department are warning the community about a man who is knocking on neighborhood doors and asking for donations to an unregistered charity.

The suspect is currently out on bond, and faces charges for bank robbery, police said.

Investigators have instructed residents not to give this man money as he is illegally soliciting funds. If you believe you are a victim, contact the St. Petersburg Police detective in charge of this case at 727-893-4272.
