Manhunt On For St. Pete Murder Suspect

St. Petersburg Police say they have a warrant for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a July 5 murder.

ST. PETESBURG, FL — St. Petersburg Police are asking for help tracking down a man wanted in connection with the July 5 shooting death of Lamant Lisbon. According to police, a second-degree murder warrant has been issued for Jerry Peterson, 32.

Libson, 42, died while on the way to a local hospital following the July 5 shooting at the Crabb Paradise pool hall at 3074 18th Ave. S. Police say it is believed Peterson and Lisbon got into fight before the 3 a.m. shooting.

Further details about the case, including how investigators linked Peterson to the shooting, have not been released at this time.

Anyone with information about Peterson’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS. Tips may also be submitted online at www.crimestoppersofpinellas.org. Tips that lead to an arrest in the case may be worth a reward of up to $3,000.
