Missing 68-Year-Old St. Pete Woman Found: Police

Joyce Baker has been found and is safe, authorities said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Joyce Baker has been found safe, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.

Joyce Baker, 68, of St. Petersburg has been missing since Tuesday, St. Pete police said.

She was last seen at her home near 37th Street and First Avenue North at 11 a.m. She is 5-feet-5, 140 pounds and was wearing a black jacket and denim pants. She uses a walker and lives with mental health issues, according to investigators.

Police said she is known to visit some senior assisted living facilities along Fourth Street North. She usually leaves her home by bus and returns by nightfall the same day.
