Pinellas County Man Charged In Sexual Battery

A Pinellas Park man is accused of sexually battering a teenage girl over the course of several years.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 44-year-old man on a charge of sexual battery on a minor.

According to the agency, Larry Bourdon of Pinellas Park “had familial authority over the juvenile victim when he began having inappropriate sexual activity with (her).” Detectives say the conduct continued until the girl turned 18.

The alleged misconduct began in 2011 and ended in 2014 with acts taking place in “various locations in Pinellas County,” an email from the agency said. The investigation into Bourdon’s alleged activities began on Dec. 27, 2016, when the victim came forward, the agency noted.
