Police Arrest Man for Attempted Homicide
St. Petersburg Police have arrested and charged 25-year-old Michael Defuria with attempted homicide.
A St. Petersburg man is in jail today after St. Petersburg Police said he shot another man multiple times.
In the midst of a fight between Michael Defuria and Derichelieu Davi, police said Defuria shot Davi with a .22 caliber revolver.
Defuria, 25, has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree attempted murder. Davi, 32, was transported to Bayfront Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

The incident occurred at 567 11th Ave. S just before midnight on June 27.
