Poll: Gualtieri, Young Have Early Leads
A new poll released by StPetePolls shows Sheriff Bob Gualtieri and Congressman C.W. Young with early sizable leads.

Sheriff Bob Gualtieri and Congressman C.W. "Bill" Young are off to strong leads in the campaign for the November general election, according to the results of a new local poll.
According to local polling outfit, StPetePolls Gualtieri leads challenger Scott Swope by 19 points with only 10 percent undecided. Young leads Democratic challenger 50 percent to 38 percent with 11 percent undecided.
Other race leaders include: Alan Grayson over Todd Long, Kathy Castor over EJ Otero and Vern Buchanan over Keith Fitzgerald. For a full list of polling results for 19 Florida races, visit StPetePolls.org.

According to StPetePolls, the poll of 10,706 likely voters was conducted between Saturday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 3. This poll used the registered voter lsts supplied by the state of Florida as of Aug. 9.
