Poll: Obama, Romney Tied Among Early FL Voters

A new survey from StPetePolls shows the presidential race in a dead heat just two weeks before the election.

Among early voters in Florida, the presidential race between Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama is a toss-up, according to new a poll from StPetePolls

Sunday, StPetePolls released results from an Oct. 20 survey taken by 1,048 people, which showed Romney with 49.3 percent and Obama with 48.5 percent for those who have already voted. 

The results also show Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson with a six-point edge over Republican challenger Connie Mack for the Florida U.S. Senate seat, 50 to 44 percent.

Retention of the Florida Supreme Court Justices, according to StPetePolls, appears likely with 56.9 saying they voted to retain the three State Supreme Court Justices that are on the ballot.
