St. Pete Fire Rescue Leader Accused Of Vaccine Theft: Report
This is the second investigation within a week involving missing COVID-19 vaccine vials from a fire rescue agency in Tampa Bay.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg Fire Rescue employee in a leadership position has been accused of stealing COVID-19 vaccine vials, Fox 13 reported.
Mayor Rick Kriseman’s office told the outlet, "We are aware that the allegations have been made against a fire department official and there is an ongoing police investigation."
Detectives didn't over any comment to the TV station while an internal investigation is in process.

This is the second investigation of stolen vaccine vials within a week in Tampa Bay. On Wed., the fire captain of Polk County Fire Rescue turned himself into authorities for allegedly taking vaccine vials from the department for his mother.
