St. Pete Man Dies from Stab Wound

Police say the victim died of a stab wound to the chest.

A 32-year-old St. Petersburg man died Thursday from a stab wound to his chest. St. Petersburg Police say his death is a possible domestic-related homicide. 

Officers responded about 1 p.m. Dec. 13 after receiving a call from a female at that address who informed 911 operators that a man had suffered a stab wound.

Police said Officers and paramedics arrived on the scene and discovered the male victim with a stab wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead about 1:37 p.m.

According to police, detectives are interviewing the female companion of the decease who called 911 and was present at the scene when officers arrived.
