St. Pete Man Dies in Pinellas Park Crash
A three-car crash in Pinellas Park resulted in the death of Charles A. Berry of St. Petersburg.

An 81-year-old St. Petersburg man is dead after a three-car crash Sunday at 49th Street and 62nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park.
According to Pinellas Park Police, Charles A. Berry and his wife Carol Berry, 77, were involved in an accident after colliding with a car driven by Tracy Garon after Garon, 58, ran a red light.
Police said Garon's 1973 Rolls Royce was southbound on 49th Street when she ran the red light and was struck by a westbound 2007 Toyota Corolla operated by Carol Cherry, age 67 of St. Petersburg.

At nearly the same time, an eastbound 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis operated by Charles Berry also struck the Rolls Royce.
According to the police report, Garon suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Cherry, 67, was transported to Northside Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Pinellas Park Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash but no charges have been filed at this time.
