St. Pete Triple Shooting: Person Of Interest Sought

St. Pete Police have named the person who died in a Jan. 4 triple shooting.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — As the St. Petersburg Police Department continues to investigate a Wednesday triple shooting that left one man dead, detectives have released some information in the case.

According to the agency, Antonio Adams, 39, was the person who was killed when shots rang out at a home in the 3800 block of 1st Avenue South Jan. 4. The names of the other two victims, both male, are not being released. Both victims remain hospitalized, the agency said. One is in serious, but stable condition; the other good condition.

Police have also released a sketch of a person of interest in the case. That person is described as a light-skinned black male between the age of 18 and 20. He stands about 5-foot-11 and has a slender build, police said in a Friday email to media. The man has short black hair. In addition, police are looking for a black Nissan Pathfinder that was seen in the area at the time of the shooting. Detectives would like to speak to the driver.

Detectives has said the incident is not believed to be random.
